What to do if you forget your password

It is very common to forget a password. Do not worry — you can reset it.

Using the Forgot Password link

Go to the Citizens Academy login page.

Look for a link that says: Forgot Password?

Select the link and enter the email address you used to create your account.

You should then receive an email with instructions for resetting your password.

Checking your email

After requesting a password reset, check your email inbox.

If you do not see the email after a few minutes, check your spam, junk or promotions folder.

The email should include a link that allows you to create a new password.

Creating a new password

Choose a password that is secure and easy for you to remember.

Try to use a mix of words, numbers or symbols.

Once your password has been changed, return to the login page and sign in using your email address and new password.

If the reset email does not arrive

If you do not receive the reset email, check that you entered the correct email address.

You may have used a different email address when you first created your account.
