A simple guide to using Citizens Academy
Use this guide to access Citizens Academy courses and communities from your mobile phone or tablet.
Open the app store on your device
Use the Apple App Store if you have an iPhone or iPad, or the Google Play Store if you have an Android phone or tablet.
Search for Thinkific
In the search bar, type Thinkific and look for the Thinkific mobile app.
Download the app
Tap Get, Install, or Download and wait for the app to install.
Open the Thinkific app
Once installed, tap the Thinkific app icon to open it.
Search for Citizens Academy
When prompted, search for your school or learning site. Type Citizens Academy.
Select Citizens Academy
When Citizens Academy appears in the results, tap it to continue.
Sign in to your account
Use the same email address and password you use to log in to Citizens Academy on the website.
Access your learning
Once signed in, you should be able to see your available courses, communities, and learning resources.
Check you are using the right account
If your courses do not appear, check that you used the same email address you originally used to create your Citizens Academy account. Thinkific notes that using a different login method, such as Apple sign-in with “Hide My Email”, may create a separate account instead of opening your original one.
Ask for help if needed
If you cannot find Citizens Academy, cannot log in, or cannot see your courses, contact the Civic Support Hub.
Thinkific’s mobile app allows learners to access enrolled learning products, take courses, participate in communities, and use mobile-supported course and community features.
